Time has gotten away from me and I haven't blogged as I want! But here I am and I want to give you the rest of the story regarding the name of my blog-"I Wish You Enough."
Following is the saying that one family handed down for generations. They said it when they departed from family or friends.
I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright. I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more. I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger. I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting. I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess. I wish enough "Hellos" to get you through the final "Goodbye."
I love these sentiments because if we really believe them, our lives are dramatically changed! We have all that we need to be happy. And happiness eludes most. Give them some thought!
Changing thoughts--Lately, I've been reading fabulous Christian writers. Larkspur, by Ramona Cecil is a historical romance that will keep you turning the pages. The setting is around 1845 in a small southern Indiana town called Larkspur. The university-trained doctor and the natural herbalist must come to terms with their medical philosophies as well as the attraction they feel for one another. Published by Vintage Press, 2006. Available at your favorite bookstore.
I'm working on a Christian romance called Joy Restored, which is set in rural eastern Tennessee in the late the 1970's. Seth Orbin and Katalina Davidson have both experienced tragedy, but finally come to acceptance of God's sovereignty and find happiness. Keep watch!
Until we meet again-I wish you enough.
